Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Node.js
• Implement server-side logic using GraphQL for efficient and flexible data querying
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design sessions
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience as a Node.js Developer
• Experience with React.js for building user interfaces
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus
